Doctor of Ministry (D.Min.)

Our Doctor of Ministry (D.Min.) program reflects the core competencies and skills that students are expected to acquire during their doctoral studies at RUNA. The program develops students’ skills—whether in pastoral ministry, church leadership, or another area of practical theology—  aligns with RUNA’s unique goals and mission, and meets the student’s needs.

Program Credit Required: 58 credits, which consist of intensive residency courses (36 credits), research writing courses (6 credits), thesis with defense (6 credits), and concentration courses (10 credits).

Program Length: 3 years

Program Prerequisite:

A Master of Divinity (MDiv) with a minimum GPA of 3.0 is a prerequisite for the Doctor of Ministry program.

A candidate with a Masters Degree in another discipline may be considered for admission to this program if  with the understanding that they will enroll in some Ministry-related courses to complete their expected qualification.
